This page is a tribute toSister Joanne Callahan,osu who has spent much of her religious life involved in many aspects of Catholic Education.

Before coming to the Diocese of Rockville Centre she had been an elementary and high school teacher and a high school Guidance Counselor.More recently sister came to the NY diocese and served as Director of Teacher Personnel and moved on to her present position as Superintendent of Schools.There are 59 elementary schools in the Diocese and 4 high schools serving a combined total of 40,000 students.



involvement with faculties and administrators along with her participation on numerous committees reflects her strong faith and tireless commitment to Catholic Education.
