In recognition of the Ursuline presence in New York, Mayor Giuliani invited the sisters to attend a ceremony at City Hall at which a Proclamation acknowledging their dedicated service over the last seventy-five years was presented to them.Fire Commissioner Thomas Von Essen,a Nativity graduate, was also present.
