PEGGY QUINN

We were all deeply saddened yet inspired by the passing of our Sister,Peggy Quinn on Saturday,January 31,2004.Peggy was loved by all

Peggy had been an Associate member of the Community since 1981 coming to the Ursulines from St. William the Abbot Parish in Seaford,NY where she served as a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound and assisted Sr. Joseph with the religious education program and the RCIA.In 1998 Peggy graduated from the Diocese of Rockville Centre's Pastoral Formation Institute which trains lay leadership for ministry in the Church. She had been an active member of the St. Angela prayer groups which met monthly in Bellerose, NY and Stamford,CT.

Peggy has been a faithful friend,a pilgrim companion, and a poignant example to all of us of letting go and surrendering to God.Peggy will be remembered for her quick wit,her prayerful presence and her generous spirit.
